Seasoned Roasted Pumpkin Seed Recipe

- Separate the pulp from the pumpkin seeds (just use your fingertips to pull the seeds free). To remove remaining pumpkin fiber, simply rinse the seeds in a colander under running water.
- Pat seeds dry with a towel or let dry overnight.

- 2 cups Fresh Pumpkin Seeds
- 3 tbsp Cooking Oil or Butter of Your Choice
- Seasonings
6 DIFFERRENT SEASONING SUGGESTIONS:
Savory: Olive Oil, 1 tsp Salt, 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder, 1/2 tsp Paprika, 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
Cajun: Butter, 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
Ranch: Olive Oil or Avocado Oil, 1 tbsp Ranch Seasoning
Italian: Olive Oil, 1-1/3 tbsp Grated Parmesan, 1 tsp Salt, 1/2 tsp Basil, 1/2 tsp Oregano, 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
Sweet: Coconut Oil, 1-1/3 tbsp Brown Sugar, 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Pumpkin Spice: Butter or Olive Oil, 2 tbsp Sugar, 2 tsp Cinnamon, 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger, Pinch of Nutmeg
STEPS FOR ROASTING IN OVEN
- Preheat oven to 300° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss seeds with seasonings of your choice: Combine the seasonings with oil or melted butter in a small bowl, then drizzle the mix over the dry seeds in a medium-sized bowl. Make sure each seed is well-coated.
- Spread seeds evenly in parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake until toasted and crunchy, about 20-30 minutes. For even toasting, be sure to toss and stir seeds every 8-10 minutes and test for doneness.
- Remove and let cool.
STEPS FOR ROASTING IN air fryer
- Toss seeds with seasonings of your choice: Combine the seasonings with oil or melted butter in a small bowl, then drizzle the mix over the dry seeds in a medium-sized bowl. Make sure each seed is well-coated.
- Place the seeds evenly in air fryer and roast at 360° for 10 minutes. For even toasting, be sure to toss and flip seeds half-way through.
- Remove and let cool.
